Mrs Melvin Kappelman, 54 of 2519 14th St., Two Rivers, died Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home and 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.
The Rev. Edward Shelter will officate with burial in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Kappelman nee Doris Heldt, was born March 8, 1921, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Paul and Agnes Havel Heldt. She was married to Melvin Kappelman Feb. 3, 1942, at Baltimore, MD. She was employed at Schwartz Mfg. Co. of Two Rivers. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, three sons,Glenn, Dale and Paul of Two Rivers; a daughter Mrs. Tom (Candance)Rank of Newton; a brother Kenneth of Eagle River; two sisters Mrs Mitchell (Ethel)Laurent and Mrs. Benedict (Dora)Sommers of Two Rivers; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home after 3:00 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon, where a VFW memorial service will be at 7 o'clock.
