He grew up picking cotton on Sand Mountain, then went on to graduate as class president from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) and open the first art gallery in Huntsville, AL. Tom was a U.S. Navy veteran, known for regaling everyone he met with interesting anecdotes in a deep Southern voice. He is survived by two children and two grandchildren. Memorial was held at Monte Sano Lodge on Sun, Jun 8, 2019 from 2 - 4 pm. Arrangements by Berryhill Funeral Home after organ donation.
