Former Broken Bow (Oklahoma) resident Maxine Joyce McGuire Evans, age 78, of Hickory, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Brian Center East in Hickory.
Born October 26, 1940 in Marion County, IN, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen Arnold McGuire.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe Evans, Jr., grandson, Anthony Killian and a sister and 2 brothers.
She is survived by:
4 Daughters: Tina Blevins of Conover, N.C., Ruth Roberts of Broken Bow, OK, Rosalie Killian and Roxanne Killian, both of Conover;
10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandchild
2 Brothers: Eugene McGuire of CT and William “Bill” McGuire of IN
No services are being held at this time.
Burke Mortuary and Crematory in Newton is serving the Evans family.

*I remember going to her house on the weekends when I would take a walk and I would take my german shepherd to her house and she just loved it. I also remember helping her when I went down there too.
