ALF FLOYD is the son of Jim Floyd.

The Marshall News Messenger reported -- BODY OF MISSING NEGRO FOUND
"Jefferson, Texas -- The body of a Negro man, ALF FLOYD, missing since November 20 last year when he left home to go hunting, was found a quarter-mile above the T.P. Railroad bridge here Tuesday about noon by Ned Harper, a Negro trapper. Floyd was identified by his wife, Myrtle Floyd, of Cason, who is a teacher in Mount Pleasant. Investigation into the cause of death was being made. A verdict has not been announced."

Burial arrangements managed by Emmett Cooper, of Jefferson, Texas, as undertaker.
