Mrs. Elsa L. Kolar, age 94, of Green Bay, Wis., died Saturday evening, February 18, 1995, in a Green Bay nursing home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 1995, at the Schauer and Schumacher East Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe, Green Bay. Burial will be in the Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.
She was born October 19, 1900, in West Bend, Wis., daughter of the late Frank and Ottilia Schoenack Glander. Mrs. Kolar lived in Manitowoc for many years. She also lived in Door County and in Florida. Mrs. Kolar loved playing Bridge and writing letters. She was skilled in knitting and pine needle basket weaving. She was fond of participating in craft shows.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Chatfield and Mary Jane Kolar, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, June and Lambert Arens, Florida; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Gerhardt, West Bend; one brother, Fred Glander, Milwaukee. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1990; a daughter, Audrey; a sister, Augusta Weinand; and a brother, Paul Glande.
Friends may all at Schauer and Schumacher East Funeral Home, Green Bay, after 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.
