ROBERT (BOBBY) CLAYTON FREEMAN, JR. Robert (Bobby) Clayton Freeman, Jr., 58, Of Auburn, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Clayton Freeman, Sr. His survivors include his dear wife of 37 years, Judith (Judy) Jernigan Freeman, his eleven children: David (Bethany) Freeman, Rebekah Freeman, Stephen (Kristen) Freeman, Sarah (Eric) Freeman Ward, Rachel (Ben) Freeman Davis, Abigail Freeman, Susanna Freeman, Mary Freeman, Joseph Freeman, Anna Freeman, and Liana Freeman; his grand-children: Michael Freeman, Daniel Freeman, Noah Freeman, Elena Freeman, Olivia Freeman, Jacob Freeman, Andrew Ward, Lydia Davis, James Davis, Porter Davis, and Shepherd Davis; his mother, Rita Baker Freeman, brother, Rick(Jennifer) Freeman, sisters, Kym (Anoosh) Freeman Baghernejad, Kelly (Randy) Freeman Bost, and Kathy(Greg) Freeman Eidson, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Bobby is a 1973 graduate of Auburn High School and attended Auburn University before faithfully serving as the Pastor at Sandhill Bible Church for over 30 years. He lived an exemplary life of loving devotion to Jesus Christ and both his immediate and church families. Bobby was a man of high principle and amazing integrity. Though his passion was preaching the Gospel and winning souls for Jesus, his life was a sermon in itself. Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2013 from 11-1:30 pm in the parlor of Opelika First Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 2 pm in the sanctuary of Opelika First Baptist Church.
