On May 30th, 2016 Jimmie Cimino went home to be with his Lord and Savior. Just twenty one days after his sixty-first birthday.
Jimmie was originally from Las Vegas Nevada. He was a heavy equipment operator for Recco, at Test Site Nevada.
Jimmie studied at Southern Nevada College.
Jimmie left behind two sons. and four sisters. Johnnie Ackroyd of Aurora Indiana , Coleen Cimino of Twins Falls, Idaho, Colletta Thornberry of Twins Falls, Idaho.
Jimmie has a fourth sister that passed away. His parents both of Las Vegas Nevada now deceased.
Jimmie was a smiling happy person. He loved his work, his family & friends. He loved country music and country dancing. Always walking into a room with a western hat, shirt, levi's and boots on, he knew how to dress.
He had a smile that was always bright, and brown eyes that could make any female blush, maybe even blush.
He had a severe auto accident years past and lay out into the cold of the night until help arrived. He had severe injuries, broke his back, of which he was never the same. He lived in pain for years.
But he accomplished so very much.
After his divorce he raised his two sons himself, being both Father and Mother, and from what I have learned and know of this awesome man, he did do that and did it well.
Four months before his passing Jimmie became a Grandpa, of a baby girl, of which I am sure made him gleam with pride.
Jimmie was a good man, unique man, a proud man and always a good son, brother, father and friend to those in his life.
He was one of those kind of people and man that one could never forget, his smile, his heart and his laughter will always be missed and loved. I was fortunate to know this man, he was my friend, a true friend. And a great dancing partner.
God love you Jimmie and so do we.
