The memorial service for Paula Alicia East Bramblett of Auburn, Alabama will be Thursday, May 30 at 2 p.m. CT at Auburn Arena. A private burial will follow the memorial service. The Reverend Dr. George Mathison will officiate the service. Visitation is from 12 p.m. until the start of the memorial service at 2 p.m. at Auburn Arena. Paula, who died at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born December 7, 1966, in Langdale, Alabama. Paula married her high school sweetheart, Roderick Jon Bramblett, on Aug. 26, 1986 at Fairfax United Methodist Church in Valley, Alabama. Both were tragically killed in an automobile accident.

Paula graduated from Lanett High School in 1985 and graduated from Auburn University in 1991. She worked at Auburn University in the Office of Information Technology as an Information Technology Specialist for 26 years.

Bramblett is survived by a daughter, Shelby Grace, son Joshua Baird of Auburn, her parents John Paul East and Kathleen Colley East of Roanoke, Alabama, sister Nikki Sanders and brother-in-law Eddie Sanders of Roanoke, Alabama, nephews Nathan, Aidan, and Caleb Sanders of Roanoke, Alabama, and nieces Holly Lynn and Susannah Lynn of LaGrange, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cary Woods Elementary After-School Garden Program and the Auburn City Library in memory of Rod and Paula Bramblett.
