Max W. Boettcher, 70, Town of Meeme farmer, died Wednesday at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 2, 1890 in Voigtsdorf, Saxony, Germany and came to the United States in 1912. After living a short time in Minnesota he moved to Wisconsin and has lived in the Town of Meeme since 1926.

On Sept. 25, 1926 he married Miss Selma Sonnemann of the Town of Meeme and had operated the Sonnemann homestead farm ever since.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Erhard on the home farm, and Edmund of Rhine Center; two grandsons, and one brother, Arthur, in Germany.He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Louis Corners with the Rev. William Hartwig, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.
