LARRY HANSMANN

Larry M. Hansmann, 20, of Cedar Lake, a Vietnam War veteran, died Friday evening at the Wood, Wis., Veterans Hospital. Death was attributed to leukemia.

He was born May 15, 1952, near Kohler, son of Elmer and the late Ruth Jaegger Barts. At the ago of five, he was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Hansmann of Cedar Lake.
He attended the district school at Louis Corners and the Kiel Public School, and graduated from Kiel High School in 1970.

For a short time, Mr. Hansmann was employed at Kohler Co. He entered the U.S. Army in August, 1970, serving in Vietnam. He was discharged last March.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church of Louis Corners.

Surviving are his parents; four sisters, Mrs. Willard Hiebung, Sheboygan Falls; Mrs. Lonny Bigler of rural Plymouth; Mrs. Donald Bender of Howards Grove; and Mrs. Richard Housey, Sheboygan; four brothers, Allan of Eau Claire, Leonard, Stationed in Germany in the U.S. Army; and Gerald and James of Sheboygan; maternal grandmothers, Mrs. William Jaegger of Sheboygan and Mrs. Katherine Maurer of R. 2, Kiel; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hansmann, Rt. 2, Kiel.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, with the Rev. Adalbert Schultz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in
the church cemetery.
