Services for Hendrick Arnold, 51, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member, chairman of the deacon board and member of the male chorus. The Rev. Marion R. Daniels will officiate, with burial in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Mr. Arnold died at noon Friday at his home.

A graduate of Lone Oak High School, he attended the former Draughon's Business College and Paducah Community College. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, former McCracken County deputy sheriff and former employee of VMV Enterprises. A 33rd degree Mason, he was a member of The Prince Hall Masonic Lodge F&AM, member of The Scottish Rite Masons, past Potentate of Balkis Temple No. 157, past Eminent Commander and past High Priest, past Master of Stone Square Lodge No. 5 and The Right Worshipful District Deputy Grand Master for the Far Western District of Kentucky F&AM P.H.A.

Surviving are his father, Alton Arnold Sr. of Paducah; three brothers, Jerome Arnold of Clarksville, Tenn., and Merle Arnold and Mayron Massie, both of Paducah; four sisters, Mildred Cogdell of Chicago, Verlaine Lynn of Memphis, Tenn., and Jennetta Arnold and Sherron Arnold, both of Paducah; nine nieces; three nephews; and several aunts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Bell Arnold; and two brothers.

Friends may call after 6 this evening at the church, with special visitation and Masonic rites from 7 to 8 p.m.
