Alma Kreshek, age 96, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Care Partners Assisted Living, Manitowoc. Alma was born Nov. 20, 1908 at Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Anton J. and Marie F. (Paul) Jedlicka. Alma graduated from Mishicot High School and Manitowoc County Normal. She taught at the LaSalle School. On July 31, 1937, she married Ralph F. Kreshek. Ralph preceded her in death Sept. 18, 1979. They celebrated 42 years together. Alma was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. She enjoyed gardening. Alma is survived by nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Ralph, Alma is predeceased by a brother: Ewald; and a sister: Marcella. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2005 at the Knollwood Chapel, 1500 Hwy. 310, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard C. Miller will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens to follow. Relatives and friends may call from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of services at 11 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is serving the Kreshek family.
