Ralph F. Kreshek, 79, of 1145 N. 18th St., Manitowoc, died early Tuesday morning, Sept. 18, at his home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Greg Meyer will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mr. Kreshek was born July 8, 1900, at Two Rivers, son of the late Frank and Lucille Jebavy Kreshek. He grew up at Two Rivers, was educated in Two Rivers schools and moved to Manitowoc in 1921. He had lived at Appleton a few years, returning to Manitowoc in 1939, residing here since. He married Alma Jedlicka July 31, 1937, at Two Rivers. Mr. Kreshek worked at Hamilton Industries and Manitowoc Engineering, retiring in 1963.

Survivors include his wife; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Vladimir and Mary Kreshek of Two Rivers, Edward Kreshek of Tonawanda, N.Y., Franklin and Gladys Kreshek of Middletown, Ohio, and Ellsworth and Rita Heppler of North Tonawanda, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Delmar Seitz of Manitowoc and numerous nieces and nephews. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home 5 .m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until the time of service.
