Alfred Koeppen, 75, R. 1, Kiel, died Tuesday evening at Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc, where he had been a patient 10 days.
Born on Aug. 13, 1895, in Kiel, a son of the late Frederick and Emelia Koeppen,
he attended district schools.
Mr. Koeppen lived in the State of Washington for 12 years following a tour of
duty in the armed forces.
Returning to the Town of Meeme, he was employed at the Valders Canning Co. from
which he retired 10 years ago.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners. Mrs. Reynold Groell,
Valders; three brothers, Henry, Town of Meeme, Edgar, San Diego, Calif., and
Frederick, St. Nazianz.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church with the
Rev. Adalbert Schultz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
