William Lawrenz(sic) Dies at Hospital Sunday Afternoon.
William Lawrenz, 84, died at Holy Family hospital Sunday afternoon after a long illness. He was a former resident of Meeme township.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from Zion Lutheran church at Louis Corners, with the Rev. William J. Hartwig in charge.Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Lawrenz was born in Germany September 12, 1874, son of the late August and Wilhelmina Sell Lawrenz. When nine years old he came to the United States with his parents and settled at Meeme. He married Adelia Meyer May 14, 1910, at Meeme, where the couple operated a farm.
She died in December 1933. A brother and sister also preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Meta of Chippewa Falls, and a nephew and nieces. - January 8, 1959
