CARL A LENZ

Carl A. Lenz, 90, formerly of 16307 Louis Corners Rd., Keil, died Monday afternoon, May 10, 1993 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, new Holstein, where he was a resident for the past 2 ½ years.

He was born Feb. 28, 1903 in the town of Liberty, a son of the late Carl Sr. and Bertha (Otto) Lenz. On June 16, 1928 he married Arvilla Drake at Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, Louis Corners. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1988. He and his wife farmed in the town of Schleswig all their married Life. The couple also served as caretakers at Zion Evangelical Lutheran church for 33 years. They moved to Kiel in 1990. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church, Louis Corners, the Men's Club and a former member of the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife, Arvilla; one son, Dennis (Diane), Kiel; one daughter, Lorraine (Clemens) Konen, Cedar Lake; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Edward (Marion) Manitowoc; three sisters, Helma Lenz, Regina Kielhorst and Lenore Neuser, all of Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by two sons and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, with the Rev. James Bartz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
