Shirley Ann "Grandma Shirley" Randall, 72, of the 700 block of Geneva Ave., died June 13, 2007, in Chesapeake General Hospital. A native of Portsmouth, she retired from Skippy Peanut Butter as a supervisor and was a member of more than 50 years of Third Baptist Church, where she was active with the AB Mason Missionaries Society, Lydia Ministries and the No. 2 Usher Board. Survivors include two sons, Vernon Randall (Maria) and Daniel Randall, both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Virginia Collins of Chesapeake and Marion Green of Portsmouth; a brother, Edward Randall (Mariquita) of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including her devoted friend, Vena Watts. A funeral will be held Monday at noon in Third Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park, Portsmouth. Viewing at Steele-Bullock Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will be today from noon to 6 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at the residence for the procession to the church.
