Clarence Meyer

Clarence Meyer, 46, of Pigeon Lake, Manitowoc county, passed away early today at Holy Family hospital in Manitowoc.

He was born in Milwaukee Oct. 31, 1901, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Meyer, and spent his childhood at St. Nazianz. He was married to Miss Ovila Rautmann, of the town of Meeme, Dec. 23, 1926, and the couple made their home for a time at New Holstein. They operated a farm at Pigeon Lake for the past seven years.

Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Joyce, Bernice and Marjie, at home; three sons, Lloyd, Allen and Eugene, at home; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Meyer, of St. Nazianz; four brothers, August, of Clark Mills, Raymond, of Valders, and Anton and Irvin, of St. Nazianz; and one sister, Mrs. Theodore Lettenberger, of Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Zion Lutheran church at Louis Corners, the Rev. William Hartwig officiating and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral home at Kiel from Thursday noon until 11 a.m. Friday and at the church from noon until the time of services.
