CARL EDWARD MUELLER

Carl E. Mueller, 91, a retired Town of Meeme farmer, who resided with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mueller, of Rt. 1, Kiel, died Saturday at Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein, where he had been a patient two weeks.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners. The Rev. Adalbert Schultz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Mueller was born June 9, 1881, in the Town of Schleswig, son of the late Henry and Christina Tagge Mueller. He attended district school at Louis Corners. He married Ida Lawrenz May 7, 1911. The couple resided at
New Holstein, later moving to a farm in the Town of Meeme, now operated by their son. His wife preceded him in death in February of 1965. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Besides his son, Milton, he is survived by three daughters, Miss Verina Mueller, of Rt. 2, Kiel, Mrs. Oscar (Evelyn) Melger, of Rt. 1, Cleveland, and Mrs. Richard (Theckla) Voss, of Rt. 1, Elkhart Lake; a brother, Harry,
of Rt. 2, Kiel; a sister, Mrs. Alma Schneider, of Rt. 1, Valders; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A daughter, two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
