A steam fitter for Radnor Yards and living at 1009 8th Avenue South in Nashville, James was 60 years old and married when - for whatever the reason - he was taken to Saint Thomas Hospital on February 24, 1952 and was pronounced DOA. Burial was two days later in Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
