Mildred V. Slusser, 80, of Rt. 2,
Camden, died Wednesday, May 20,
1981, at the Brethren’s Home at
Flora where she had been a resident
for five years.
Born December 2, 1900, in Carroll
County, she was the daughter of
John and Laura DeFord Appleton.
Her marriage in 1932 was to Russell
Slusser, who died in 1955. She was a
member of Clymers United
Methodist Church.
She is survived by her mother,
Laura Appleton, who resides at the
Brethren’s Home in Flora; one son,
R. Wayne Slusser of Bringhurst,
and one granddaughter.
Services were Friday at Sullivan
Funeral Home with the Rev. Gail
Price officiating. Burial was in
Clymers Cemetery.
