Matthew James Prauser, 41, of Columbus, KS passed from this life on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness.
Matthew was born on December 15, 1976 in Joplin, MO to Brenda (Griffith) Prauser and Sam Prauser. Matthew graduated high school with honors from Drummond, OK and completed technical college in Enid, OK. Matthew worked in farming, painting, and most recently a press operator at Calibrated Forms in Columbus, KS for 10 years. Matthew enjoyed his Mustang and working on cars, fishing, and watching baseball and football.
Matthew is survived by one son, Brayden Matthew Prauser; Mother, Brenda (Griffith) Prauser of the home; Father, Sam Prauser and wife Cindy of Baxter Springs, KS; Brothers, Luke Prauser and wife Elizabeth of Columbus, KS, and Haden Clouse of Baxter Springs, KS; Sister, Haley Doherty of Baxter Springs, KS; Along with Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2018 at Derfelts Baxter Chapel. Pastor Gary Yurk will officiate. Matthew has been entrusted to Derfelts Baxter chapel for cremation. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
