She is the daughter of the late William C. Redden and Bertha Boley Redden.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Raleigh County. She was a charter member of the Daniels Wesleyan Church. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing and canning.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lilly, April 1, 1985; two sons, Edwin Lilly and Travis Lilly; a grandson, Larry; three brothers, Russell, Emmett and Walter; and a sister, Ethel.
Survivors include four sons, Ron Lilly (wife Linda). Leon Lilly (wife Sharon), Koy Lilly (wife Barbara) and Marvin Lilly (wife Wilma); a daughter-in-law, Rosalie Lilly; four sisters, Audra Brogan, Pearl Wilson, Marie Oakes, and Geraldine Swartz; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Services at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at Melton Mortuary Chapel, Beckley, with the Revs. Gene Hall and Dean Adams officiating. Burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV.
