Robert Victor Condie was born to Mary Bustard and Walter Joseph Condie.
Bob married Audrey Hall from England while he was stationed in England. She is from Grimsby, England.
As stated under his gravestone photo, Robert was a wonderful, caring man and very religious.

ROBERT V CONDIE
CONDIE Robert V. Condie, age 86, of Fairfield, a retired employee of Remington Shaver, died on Monday, March 28, 2005, at Cambridge Manor surrounded by his family and friends. Born in East Rutherford, N.J., the son of the late Walter and Mary (Bustard) Condie, he had been a Fairfield resident since 1945.
Mr. Condie was a World War II veteran serving in the 8th U.S. Army Air Corps stationed in Lincolnshire, England. He was a member and past treasurer of the CT Power Engineers. An avid singer and crooner, he was a longtime member of the Fairfield Elderberries, and also enjoyed singing with his son Jon at local convalescent homes and assisted living facilities. He particularly enjoyed time spent with his family and friends and the beautiful sunsets on Anna Maria Island, Fla, and loved his daily bike rides through Fairfield. A devout Catholic, Robert looked forward to daily quiet reflection and reading passages from the Daily Word.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Audrey Hall Condie of Fairfield; four loving sons, Paul Vincent Condie and his wife Alberta of Lemoore, Calif, Richard Paul Preach and his wife Kate of Long Beach, N.Y., David James Condie of Rochester, N.H. and Jonathan Walter Condie and his wife Suzanne of Killingworth; four grandchildren, Jason, Shana, Nathan and Aaron; two sisters, Carolyn Kundrath of Phoenix, Ariz. and Marion Galbicsek of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his two brothers, Joseph and Francis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 1, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, (TODAY) from 4p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Spear Funeral Home 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield. To offer an on-line condolence visit www.spearfuneralhome.com.

WED IN ENGLAND COUPLE CELEBRATE SILVER ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Condie Feted at Outdoor Lucheon
Mr. and Mrs. Robert V, Condie, 35 Bonnie Terrace, Fairfield, celebrated their wedding anniversary last Friday at an outdoor luncheon, given by Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Molnar, 78 Welch Terrace, Fairfield at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Condie were married July 24, 1945 in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.
Guests included Jonathan W. Condie, Paul Richard Preach, David J. Condie, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Condie, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kundrath, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Galbicsek, Jill Galbicsek, Mrs. Carolyn Artman, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mehlhouse and children.
