Garnet Baker, 89, died Monday at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was the former Garnet Hoten and a native of Depauw. Survivors: her husband, Logan; sons Lawrence, Darrell and Earl Baker; a sister, Bertha Black; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday, Palymra Church of Christ. Burial: Palmyra Cemetery. Visitation: Love Funeral Home, 2 - 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. - noon, and at church after 1 p.m. Thursday.
