JANNETT, ALBERT M. JR. - of Folsom, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday. Al was born and raised in Hammonton and a long-time resident of Medford Lakes.

He was predeceased by his wife Patricia of 54 years and his brother Andrew F. Jannett, M.D. He is survived by his three daughters, Mimi Veneziani and her husband Mike, Patricia Meyer-Pietrusko and her husband Walt, and Kim Jannett all of Folsom; one son, Albert M. Jannett, III, of Naples, Italy; two sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Goodyear of Wilmington, DE, and Kathleen Curran (Ward) of West Hartford, CT; one sister-in-law, Rosemary Flaherty I.H.M. of Immaculata, PA, eight grandsons, Michael and Christopher Veneziani, James, Andrew and Kyle Meyer, Joshua, Albert, IV, and Ian Jannett; and four great-grandchildren, Brittany, Aisling, Jackson, and Kaylee.

Al graduated from Malvern Prep in Malvern, PA, and the University of Notre Dame where he played football. He continued to play football in a men's league into his 50s, as well as being a lifel-ong fan of the game.

He was a Korean War vet and was a survivor of Operation Castle (Atomic Energy Commission), for which he earned a Purple Heart.

His greatest joy was family and traveling extensively, including visiting extended family, in both Ireland and Italy. He loved music and singing, and had many good times with friends.

A mason by trade, he carried on a family construction business for many years, then worked for the Federal Government. In retirement he worked part-time for Target in Mays Landing, where he had many friends.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:00 am, in St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 285 Route 206, Hammonton, where a visitation will be held from 10:00 am unitl 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Margaret Loughman Jannett Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Joseph's Elementary School, 133 N. Third St., Hammonton, NJ 08037. Arrangements are by the Carnesale Funeral Home, Hammonton, NJ.
