Loren D. Lecy, age 62, of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away after a lengthy illness Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church in Arkdale, Wisconsin. Pastor Terri Skildum will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and again on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church.

Loren was born April 7, 1955 in Mauston, Wisconsin to Helmer and Myrtle (Pedersen) Lecy. He graduated from Adams-Friendship High School 1973. Loren married Karen Grahl in 1987, she preceded him in death on December 18, 2004. He married Peggy L. Henriksen on May 9, 2015 in Arkdale, Wisconsin.

Loren was employed at the Adams County Sheriff's Department for over 30 years and co-owner of L&L Old Winter Toys.

He enjoyed hunting, vintage snowmobiling, ATVing, teaching hunter safety, being a prankster, the Brewers, Packers, Badgers, local sporting events, NASCAR, and mentoring kids. He loved spending time at the log house and at the shop with dad. His biggest love was his family.

Loren was a member of The Old Farmer's Antique Club, A.A.S.S.T.I.S, 4-H, Luther League at Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church, a past member of Bass Masters and a Charter member of the Roche-A- Cri Lions. He was coach of Edgewater Marine Softball Team and the dispatcher for the Lions' Eye Bank.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Lecy, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Great-Nieces & Nephews: Amelia Hudson, Lillian Hudson, Samantha Wendland, Mayson Nawrot, Myles Nawrot, and Baby Cada due in December.
