Born in London, Mr. Bainbridge came to the United States with his parents at the age of 5. A graduate of Old Trinity School on Stanton Island for more than thirty-five years. He was a member of the Princes Bay Yacht Club and Stanten Island Lodge of Elks.
Besides his son, he leaves a sister Miss Annie Bainbridge and three brothers, Thomas A., Ralph and Sydney P. Bainbridge, all of Stanton Island.
