WILLIAMS, Roger P. Age 77, of Centerville, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital.

Roger was born September 6, 1932 in Dayton to Nellie (Vonderau) and Russell Paul Williams.

He retired from Hobart Brothers, Troy, where he worked as Group Vice President. Roger was a graduate of Harvard Business School (1985), member of John Durst Masonic Lodge, Dayton and a former President of Northridge Optimist Club. He was a Kentucky Colonel, Tennessee Squire, an amateur pilot, a Ford Mustang lover, and an avid golfer who loved golfing at the Mound.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Russell, sisters Dorothy, Betty, Marge, and Marilyn, and special little dog Babe. Roger is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Judy (Fleming) Williams, daughters Kathleen & husband Ron Cornett and Linda & husband Rudy Brown, sons Mark, Eric & wife Hollie, grandchildren who he loved greatly, Katie & Angie Cornett, Michelle & husband Ed Defalco, Rob & wife Michelle Williams, Greg (Carrie) Williams, Alex & Erica Williams, Natalie Williams, Delanie Flanagan, Jeff & David Hensley, Mandy & Mickey Williams, great-grandchildren Whit, Lucas, Anthony, Marissa, David, Austin, Emily & Sara, loving nieces & nephews, special friends Jim & Nancy Angel, Bill & Betty Barlow, George & Pat Dellinger, Jim & Beth Rogers, Marge Clayton, lunch buddy Tom Miller, friends at Centerville Church of Christ, friends at 53rd Ave. Church of Christ in Bradenton, Florida, where he and Judy spent happy winters, and also his dog Sam, who wouldn't leave his side.

Memorial services were Saturday January 23, 2:00 pm at Centerville Church of Christ. J.D. Cash officiated. Reception followed the services.
