Mark Cullen Lancaster, 13 of Hawkinsville, GA, died Saturday in the Egleston Hospital, Atlanta, after a lengthly illness.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Dr. H.W. Perry and Rev. H. D. Hinely officiating. Interment followed in the Lancaster Cemetery, Pulaski County.

Marc was a native of Hawkinsville, a member of the First Baptist Church of Hawkinsville, and was a student in the seventh grade of Pulaski Middle School.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cleveland Sparrow, Hawkinsville; one brother David Lancaster, Hawkinsville; one sister, Lynn Lancaster, Hawkinsville; grandparents Mrs. Mamie B. Pickett, Eastman, and Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Sparrow Sr., Hawkinsville.

Pallbearers were Danny Pickett, Gainer Sparrow, John Lancaster, Wendell Lancaster, DeLamar Clark, and Lockwood Whigham 111.

Clark Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
