When Axel Andreasson was born on April 2, 1863, in Forslov, Kristianstad, Skåne, Sweden, his father, Andreas Persson, was 49 and his mother, Elna, was 38. He had five brothers and one sister. He died on December 1, 1940, in Hennepin, Minnesota, at the age of 77. Axel emigrated to the US in 1891, departing Liverpool in April and arriving at the port of New York 27 April 1891 on the "Alaska". He lived in Cook County, Illinois and later moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he became a US Citizen, and worked in the building trade, investing in real estate. After his death brother, Carl Lund (FAG Memorial #68142048), drove to Minneapolis from his home in Lincoln, NE and settled his estate. Axel remained a bachelor throughout his lifetime. There is no record of where he was buried.
