Roxanne Alton, 53, of Liverpool NY died at home June 3. Roxanne was born in Salina KS to Darlene (Wagner) Manning and Chester Alton Jr on Feb 7, 1966. She graduated from Liverpool High School. She worked most recently as Activities Director at the Bernardine in Syracuse, where her larger-than-life personality and sense of humor made her well loved by residents. She had a gift of creativity and loved art, writing, music, and dance. She had a gift for letting people know they were accepted and valued. Roxanne is survived by her close friend, Joel Trieger of Mamaroneck NY; mother, Darlene Manning of Liverpool NY; siblings, John Alton of Liverpool NY, Cathrine (Keith) Barnes of Emporia KS, Greg (Debra Motes) Alton of Troy AL, Mark (Tracy) Alton of Baldwinsville NY, Heather (Tim) Dibble of Bloomfield CT, and Aaron Miner of the Bronx NY; many stepsiblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and cat, Scott. She was predeceased by her sister, Jennifer Levine, and her father. Calling hours will be Thu Jun 13 from 4-7 PM at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 N Salina St, Syracuse NY. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Fri Jun 14 at St Mark's Lutheran Church, 2840 Cold Springs Rd, Baldwinsville NY. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville NY.
