Mrs. Alice Jeannette Moore Coleman, 80, went to the arms of Jesus early Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Mrs. Coleman was born in Toombs County on May 24, 1941 to Mr. John Wilmer and Mrs. Evelyn McGahee Moore, graduating from Vidalia High in the class of 1959, living in this area all her life. She was a seamstress, owning her own alteration shop, "The Stitching Post" in downtown Vidalia, GA for many years. She touched many lives through her music ministry as a gifted pianist and singer. She played piano and organ at Vidalia Church of God for many years. She was Choir Director at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church. She loved Southern Gospel Music, starting many gospel groups, including, The Redeemers, Undivided, Praise III, and finished with Heartfelt Quartet. She loved traveling with Excursions Tours. She spent many Friday nights with her friends, the "Golden Girls," having dinner and playing cards. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, and "Nana." She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 48 years Randall Coleman, daughter Melinda Coleman May, and brother Jimmy Moore.
She is survived by:

Children: Rhonda Coleman Morgan (John) of Soperton, Georgia
Cathy Coleman Kennedy (Don) of Metter, Georgia
John Randall Coleman (Carla) of Tarrytown, Georgia

Brother: Michael Moore (Suzette) of Sarasota, Florida

Sister-in-Law: Ann Moore of Evans, Georgia
Grace Cowart of Vidalia, Georgia

Son-in-Law: Butch May of Murrels Inlet, South Carolina

Grandchildren: Willie McGowan (Brooke), Kristie Goeddel (Bryon), Hannah Morgan,
Halli Smith(Brenton), Hunter Whitfield, Tucker Coleman, Emily Coleman.

Great-Grandchildren: Kaylee, Mackenzie, Kylee, Miles, Braylon, and Kaspian

Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, 2021 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Family Life Center of Cedar Crossing Baptist Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Coleman will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Rev. Reece Mincey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to Cedar Crossing Baptist Church and to the CCBC Church Choir, 2926 Cedar Crossing Road, Uvalda, GA 30473.
