Rosedale, VA – Barbara Cox Powers, age 66, went to be with the Lord, June 13, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born July 23, 1952, the daughter of the late Robert and Edith Robinson Cox.
She is survived by her husband: Terry Powers; sister: Jeanette Farmer and husband Graham; sons: Jamie Kiser and wife Tracy; Brian Kiser and wife Cristal; Spencer Powers and wife Katie; daughter: Jessica Powers; grandsons: Austin, Hunter, Taylor Kiser; McKinley Foley; Avery and Ayden Robertson; Lukus and Maxwell Powers; granddaughters: Caitlyn Kiser, Haley Robertson and Jillian Powers; special nephews: Robert and Patrick Farmer; uncles: Gene Cox and friend Barbara and Eddie Cox and wife Brenda Cox. Several nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral services for Barbara Cox Powers will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2019 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Paul Hite officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. prior to service. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 in Russell Memorial Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be the members of Belfast Fire Dept.
