Mrs. Katherine Womack, age 78 years, died at her home in this city Monday morning, March 29th, following a short illness.
Funeral services were held from the L. O. Turner Funeral Home Wednesday, Rev. C. M. Ward, officiating. Burial took place at the Southland Cemetery.
Mrs. Womack was born in Somerset, Kentucky on May 10th, 1859, where she grew to womanhood. In 1874 she was converted and joined the church and lived a consecrated Christian life under her death.
She was married to Z. E. Womack October 18, 1889. Mrs. Womack has been a citizen of this community for many years. She is survived by two children, Naomi O. and Volney R. Womack of this city. She is also survived by one brother, Pat H. Black and two sisters, Mrs. Orpha Fullbright of Neosha, Kansas and Ms. Laura Anderson of Elk City, Okla.
