Mr. Anthony "Amp" Adams, 56, was called home to the peace and joy of our Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 13, 2019.
Anthony was always smiling, laughing, telling jokes and beat boxing especially with his grandkids whom called him Papa.
Anthony was a hardworking, loving and caring man. He was baptized at a young age at O'Zion Ame Church. He graduated from Myers Park HS. Played basketball and loved going fishing growing up which he was very good at. When he wasn't working he was playing his PlayStation.
Waiting to greet him with open arms is his father Mr. Roosevelt Adams, his mother Mrs. Lola Mae Adams and his beloved wife Mrs. Mary Andrews.
He leaves behind to cherish his fond memories, four brothers Roosevelt Adams Jr, Jerry L. Adams, David L. Adams, Robert L. Adams all of Charlotte. Three children, Latoya, Thomas and Darrell all of Charlotte. Ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Anthony, Amp, Papa, Boo-Ya you will truly be missed. We love you!
