James Rex Alsbrooks 78, of Cadiz, formerly of Madisonville & Providence died Friday, June 14, 2019 at Trigg County Hospital.. He was born in St. Charles, KY on June 1, 1941 to the late Lee Rex Alsbrooks and Ruby Francis Cummings Alsbrooks.
He was a Retired Coal Miner, a US Air Force Veteran, Member of the American Legion in Madisonville, Cadiz Masonic Lodge # 121, Rizpah Shrine Temple, and the Nebo Baptist Church in Nebo, KY. He was a very proud grandfather of three boys.
In addition his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Frankie McDowell Alsbrooks and two brothers, Leroy Alsbrooks and Jerry Alsbrooks.
Survivors: Wife of 26 Years: Alana Alsbrooks, Cadiz, KY; Son: Kerry Rex Alsbrooks, Clarksville, TN; Daughter: Shannon Dove Alsbrooks, Clarksville, TN; Brother: Wayne Alsbrooks, Providence, KY; Grandsons: Nathaniel Rex Alsbrooks, Trenton Rex Alsbrooks and Keelan Rex Alsbrooks, Clarksville, TN; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews.
