Knollenberg, Ann (Aikins) Knollenburg unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017, due to complications following heart surgery. She will always be remembered for her vivacious personality and her love of nature and wildlife. She attended Wichita Collegiate, Wichita Southeast, and KU. Her passions and entrepreneurial spirit were reflected in her many pastimes and business ventures including equestrian, floral designer, REEF volunteer, kayak tour guide, underwater videographer, scuba Divemaster, Christmas wreath designer, forest service ranger interpreter at Mendenhall Glacier and jewelry designer as "Annabella"; She was mother to many beloved dogs and cats over her lifetime. She was preceded in death by father, C.W. "Todd" Aikins. She is survived by a spouse, Dale Knollenberg; mother, Mary Ainsworth Aikins; sister, Nancy Frierson (Jim); brother, Todd Aikins (Marlo); many nephews, nieces, and cousins. No services are planned but a celebration of life will be held at a future date this summer or fall. Memorial gifts may be made to Bitter Root Humane Associates, 262 Fairgrounds Rd., Hamilton MT 59840.
