Mrs. Creighton G. Logan


Mrs. Emma Cooper Logan, 60 years old, of 12 W. Wallace avenue, widow of Creightwon G. Logan, died Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Jameson Memorial hospital, following two weeks of illness.


She was born July 21, 1876, of English Parents, George and Sarah Caldwell Cooper, in Shelby county, Iowa. Her residence was in New Castlesince her marriage on November 26, 1903, to Mr. Logan, a veteran of the Spanish American war and a well known member of the New Castle police department, who preceded her in death four years ago.


She was a loyal member of Trinity Episcopal church and had a wide circle of friends.


Surviving are, one daughter, Mrs. Walter G. Patterson, Donora, Pa., and two sisters, Mrs. Jacob A. Young, of Sharon, and Miss Cora Cooper, of New Castle.


Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the late residence, 12 West Wallace avenue. Interment will take place in Oak Park cemetery. Rev. Samuel M. Black, pastor of St. Andrew's Episcopal churchc, will be in charge of the services, in the absence of the Trinity Episcopal minister.
