Shelia Ann Callahan, 69, of Rocky Face passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019. She was a member of Community Baptist Church on Lee Mason Road in LaFayette. Sheila was fun and creative and enjoyed trips to the beach. She loved her grandchildren immensely.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wayne Callahan; and parents, Robert and Dorothy Rackley.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristi (Brandon) Whisenant of Adairsville; sons, Jonathan (LaShanda) Callahan of Resaca and Eddie Underwood of Dalton; grandchildren, Logan and Lance Callahan and Abagail and Lilyann Whisenant; sister, Melica (Rodney) Kendrick of Dalton; brother, Randall Rackley of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Community Baptist Church with Rev. W.C. Pence and Rev. Melvin Frazier officiating. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service after 3 p.m.
Interment will be private in the Community Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
