Kathleen Kelley, 81, passed to her heavenly home May 19, 2019 at Signature Healthcare. She was born November 2, 1937, in Ashford, AL. She married her late husband, James Robert, in July 1957. They were longtime residents of Headland, AL. Kathleen graduated from Wallace College School of Nursing in 1982. She began her career as a maternal nurse for SAMC and continued as such until 2008. Mrs. Kelley was predeceased by her parents, Jesse and Lela (Moss) Jackson; and a sister, Linda Sue. Surviving are her sisters, Betty Jean (Wayne) Trawick, Wylene (Thad) McCollough, a brother Ronnie Wayne (Lee Anna) Jackson and a "special sister" Katie Hughes. Her children: Randall, Rhonda, and Jason; grandchildren: Blake, April, Brooke, Bethani, John Ryan, Nicholaus, and Jake: 4 truly great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ethan, Camden, and Brooklyn: several dear nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance will be held at 3pm, Saturday June 3rd at Hebron Baptist Church, 6952 State Hwy 134 East, Columbia, AL. Visitation & meal with family to be held in the fellowship hall following the service.
