David Dean Klakamp, age 63 of Brownstown, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at home. Born April 24, 1956 in Seymour, he was the son of Sgt. Dale H. and Flora Ellen Klakamp and Constance Sue Bush. On August 12, 1975 in Seymour, he married Bonnie Moss.

David was a 1974 graduate of Jennings County High School. David was a member of the Riverdale Chapel in Sparksville, the IC Mission in Medora and was a longtime supporter of Indiana Volunteer Militia. He worked as an A1 MediCab driver and had worked previously at Ben Franklin and the Pines Restaurant. He loved going to church and enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, doing genealogy, enjoyed Bigfoot research, REACT, and was a storm chaser and was founding member of EMA in Jackson County.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Bonnie; son, Christopher David Klakamp of Brownstown and daughter, Jessica Marie Haynes of Bowling Green, KY; grandson, Aaron Haynes; brothers, Donald (Mary) Klakamp of Vallonia, Robert (Tina) Klakamp of Seymour and Don (Laurie) Henry Klakamp of Virginia; brothers-in-law, Danny Moss of Greenwood, Kevin Moss of Indianapolis, Barry (Vicky) Moss of Whiteland, Mark (Crystal) Moss of Franklin; sisters-in-law, Donna D. Moss of Bowling Green, KY and Tamara (Joseph) Higdon of Franklin. David also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kimberly Christine Klakamp.
