Helen D. Gallant, 86, of Concord, passed away on Friday Sept 29, 2022 at Concord Hospital surrounded by family. She was born on March 29, 1936 in North Stratford, NH, the daughter of Eugene Peter Daley and Florence Rose Beecher.
On Nov 26, 1955 in North Stratford, NH she married Robert Cyrus Gallant, son of Joseph Gerard Gallant and Frances Eldora Christie.
She was educated in local schools and following the birth of her daughters, Randi and Renee, she decided she wanted to go back to school where she received her Bachelor's degree attending night classes. She worked for many years as Quality Control for Northeast Electronics until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, knitting, quilting, cooking, and shopping. She was known as a collector of many things.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Eugene I. Daley, as well as great granddaughter, Tessa Carter.
She is survived by daughters Randi Hastings and husband Wayne, and Renee Martinson and her husband Bruce; her significate other, Russell Small; son Todd Small; grandchildren Nicole and Nathan Hastings; and five great grandchildren: Julia, Miranda, and Luke Carter; and Molly and William Hastings; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held the following August when she was interred with her parents in Bloomfield, VT.
