Marvin Olsen, age 76, of 1007 Margaretha St., Two Rivers, died early Sunday morning, September 25, 1994, at Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 1994, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. David Scherbarth will officiate with burial in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
He was born April 5, 1918, in the town of Green Valley, Wis., son of the late Albert and Jennie Thompson Olsen. He attended grade school in Green Valley. On November 1, 1941, he married the former Effie Lambrecht in Two Rivers. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United State Army. He had been employed at the C. Reiss Coal Company for a number of years.
Survivors include his wife, Effie; one daughter and son-in-law, Corinne and Terry Paul, Kiel; one sister and brother-in-law; Clara and Gordon Hansen, Rhinelander; five grandchildren, Kirsten, Allison and Meredith, Paul, Joshua and Angela Olsen; two nephews and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen, one son, Dean, one brother Albert and two sisters, Karen and Ida.
Friends may call at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday evening and after 12 Noon at the church on Wednesday.
