My heart is broken and I cannot write anything yet for my Casey. He was loved so very much and even until his death he looked so healthy. WE all miss you Casey Grey.
Casey was "best buds" with Punkin, another cockatiel that we rescued from a filthy place. It was shut down later, and I wonder so often about all the other birds in that place. I wish that I could have saved them all.
Punkin missed Casey so much, as they were side by side for over 14 years. Casey had been to three different Vets, but neither of them was of any help. I am so disappointed in those vets. But Casey is gone now and not suffering anymore. Birds have a way of not showing their illness, as in the wild, they are left behind if they are sick.
