HENRY M. WILLIS
October 12, 1901 ~ March 17, 1970

Henry Willis, 68, Broken Bow, died Tuesday morning in an Idabel hospital.

Mr. Willis was born Oct. 12, 1901 in Temple, Tex. He lived most of his life in Broken Bow and Pomona, Calif. He was a retired aircraft worker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Josie Willis of Broken Bow; one son, Chester Willis of Broken Bow;

Five step-sons, Ferman Lee of Pomona, Calif., Billy Ayer of Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Herman Ayer of Austin, Tex., Kenneth Ayer of Lakewood, Calif., Lawrence Ayer of Downey, Calif.; two step-daughters, Barbara Clemons of Broken Bow and Virginia Burlingame of Vancouver, Wash.; step-mother, Annie May Willis, Idabel;

One brother, Gwen Willis of Broken Bow; one sister, Nora Whiteman of Broken Bow and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services have been set at 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Norwood-Welch chapel in Broken Bow with Tom Silva, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow cemetery under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
