Private, Company D (Huguenin Rifles), 30th Regiment, Georgia Infantry, Army of Tennessee; enlisted May 14, 1862, appointed Assistant Commissary June 8, 1862; appointed Commissary Sergeant August 1, 1863. Left unit for Atlanta on November 18, 1863, for Atlanta. Upon arrival, quartered at the Fair Ground Hospital No. 2, Ward 17. Admitted to Floyd House & Ocmulgee Hospitals in Macon, Georgia on November 26, 1863. Died of pneumonia in Macon.
