Born June 24, 1868 in Redford, NY. He was the son of Narcisse and Olympe Duford Amo. A lumberman, he worked the woods in Carthage, NY until his retirement in 1930. He never married. He made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Emery Hubbard. He is survived by nephews Leslie King and Arthur Amo of Tupper Lake; niece Mrs. Arthur Neault, also of Tupper Lake; and a niece, Mrs. Mathew Hynes, of Carthage.
