ELMER (SHORTY) STORY
May 11, 1919 ~ February 26, 1984

Elmer "Shorty" Story, 64, Broken Bow, died Sunday in Memorial Heights Nursing Home in Idabel. Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lukfata Baptist Church with Rev. Cletus Hawkins officiating.

Burial was to be in Broken Bow Cemetery under the direction of Nation Funeral Home of Broken Bow.

Story was born May 11, 1919 at Gillham, Ark. and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Betty Tice of Enimclaw, Wash.; one brother, Cleve Story of Broken Bow; and several nieces and nephews.
