FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. G. T. SMITH HELD HERE
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Alberta Pitts Smith, wife of G. T. Smith, were held Thursday afternoon of last week at the Church of the Nazarene by the pastor, Rev. W.V. NieN. Burial followed in the Broken Bow cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was born in Birmingham, Alabama, June 23, 1868 and was married to G.T. Smith of Georgia, September 28, 1890. She has been a devout christian since the age of fourteen and has shown the blessing of entire
sanctification for twenty-one years.
Mrs. Smith had lived in Broken Bow for fourteen years, and is survived by her husband and nine children, as follows: Mrs. Leona McCurley, Bokchito; Mrs. Viola Martin, Purcell; Mrs. Nettie Hicks, Ardmore; George Smith, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Eunice Hurst, Broken Bow; Mrs. Alma Duggan, Cove, Ark.;
Leon Smith, Broken Bow; Laban Smith, Broken Bow, and Miss Ruby Smith, of Broken Bow. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren.
